CA POST CERTIFIED LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING
Instructor Development Institute
"Advanced Instructor Development Core Course"
POST IDI Level Three
The purpose of this course is to further develop the instructor skills of the POST instructor who has attended and been certified at IDI Level Two. Upon completion of this course, the 16-hour Leadership, Mentoring and Coaching Course and a mentoring practicum, the instructor will be certified at IDI Level Three.
This 40-hour Core Course and 16-hour Teach Back Session provides additional instructor development skills while designing or enhancing a module of instruction they currently teach or are designated to teach. IDI Level Three Certification is required to begin the Level Four Master Instructor Certification Course. This core course will reinforce and provide the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills learned during the IDI Level One and Two training. |
