This five-day, 40-hour course is for investigators in all fields of investigation. This course gives you, the investigator, the ability to recognize terrorism information during your investigation and advises you on what to do with that information. It also provides information on weapons and techniques terrorists' use, and vital investigative strategies on terrorism to assist the investigator in a safe and successful handling of your case. The course is designed for active, hands-on participation by the students; they are expected to be active participants throughout the training. This will include conducting research and providing briefings on the contemporary terrorist threat. Sharing of information on useful terrorism related resources used by the students in their investigative activities is a unique part of the program. Students should bring copies of unclassified resource materials as well as resource URL's to share with their classmates. We will build a consolidated list of these resources during the class. The instructional team includes terrorism experts, bomb technicians and computer experts in the field of intelligence gathering. |
