Supervisor's Update; Effective Discipline
in the Contemporary Organization

This very practical workshop is for supervisors and managers at all levels who have the responsibility for motivating employees whose job performancecor work conduct falls below expected standards. Participants will identify common police personnel and discipline problems, and learn how to clarify work rules and performance standards. Participants will receive instruction and practice in how to apply the elements of progressive counseling in a results oriented fashion. This system has been adopted in many law enforcement agencies in California and has produced excellent results in improving employee productivity and accountability in a non-punitive fashion.
