ASSERTION: appropriate self-expression
through which one stands up for one's own basic human rights without
violating the rights of others. Using the definition of assertion,
participants in the workshop learn verbal and non-verbal skills to
help them to assert themselves and to be more effective at work. The
training is dynamic, highly interactive, and takes place in a supportive
atmosphere. Participants have the opportunity to increase their skill
in response to those situations which are particularly challenging
for them. |
