Managing conflict is a fundamental skill of a professional who wants to be successful in today's team oriented workplace. Conflict is a by-product of the interaction of human beings. Managing conflict effectively is the responsibility of managers and supervisors.

Resolving conflict is seen as a means to clarify issues, build lasting solutions, facilitate mutual respect, and create commitment to team work which will ensure maximum productivity and delivery of service.

  • Identifying personal style for dealing with conflict

  • Recognizing the indicators of conflict

  • A structured approach for analyzing conflict situations

  • Strategies for resolution and implementation
  • Employment of effective listening, verbal and non-verbal techniques to conflict situations

  • Learning how to confront issues rather than individuals

  • Applications of conflict model to real world situations
