WORKPLACE DIVERSITY

This one day course will help participants to be more sensitive to the complexities involved with working with individuals from divergent cultures and other diverse backgrounds. This course is designed for employees who are not supervisors.
TOPICS WILL INCLUDE:
  • The role of perceptions when communication across cultures
  • Potential negative consequences of stereotyping
  • Possible problems faced by "out group" members
  • Rights and responsibilities of employees when working in a diverse workforce
  • Common area of miscommunication when communicating across culture
