|
In
this two-day workshop participants will upgrade their skills in writing,
editing and evaluating reports, memos and proposals. The course will
consist of both learning the principles of clear writing and practice
in applying these principles to the work situation. Participants are
invited to bring a work-related writing sample to the class for evaluation
(two to four pages).
The instructor will provide detailed critiques
of the samples at the end of the class. Upon completion of the workshop,
participants can expect to have: improved
skills in composition; improved ability to edit; increased confidence
in writing ability; updated knowledge of trends in business writing
styles; knowledge of standard formats for report writing; techniques
for avoiding the most common weaknesses in report writing; improved
ability to write faster and more efficiently and a detailed personal
evaluation from the instructor.
